One Human Race.

unity
One world, one human race.

I noticed a post a very good friend of mine shared, others by other friends too, of the same nature, I simply let the others go but because I had a lot of respect for this particular friend, I was worried they were being brainwashed, relatively manipulated and without realising it, potentially paying that trait forwards.

The post shared stated;

“In 2017 when the Manchester Arena was bombed, lots of people changed their profile picture to the worker bee and said “Manchester Strong”. Nobody said “All cities strong”.

When the shootings at the Bataclan in Paris happened in 2015, people said “I stand with Paris”. Nobody said “Well what about the people who were shot in my city”.

Have you ever seen anyone counter a breast cancer post with “What about Colon cancer?”.

But for some reason, if someone says “Black lives matter”, it turns into all inclusive “All lives matter”. Its not an either/or proclamation.

When there is a crisis, we have always rallied around that particular group. It doesn’t discredit or diminish any other group, it just brings awareness and support to the group that needs attention.”

So I relatively composed a response, to that “statement”, as below.

Regarding some of these points, the people that may have made some of these choices, their choices were respected, others sympathised with and then people moved on but the wording of a certain movement sparked a debate and everyone else was expected to follow suit, expected to ask no questions and simply expected to follow the crowd. Even after justice had been served – people were and are still not happy.

People were encouraged by speakers to take advantage of the whole situation… encouraged to protest even more and told to keep the anger alive. Violence & destructive behaviour of any kind is unacceptable, regardless of who you/they may be. Regardless of who you/they may support

If anyone dared to think otherwise or independently, their choices were and are not respected and reverse psychology was  / is being applied.

The BLM movement is fine, uniting against ALL racism would benefit everyone but how people choose to behave to go about it, oppressing people’s choices, especially if they wanted to think for themselves, or to be at a safe distance (for their own mental health sake for example) or to make it only about themselves, to be violent or cause destruction, hatred, anger and dismay isn’t going to get anyone, anywhere. Negativity breeds…

People know already that my family has experienced racism in different ways, of course I would naturally want to see eradicating it to be inclusive of all. I’m mindful that way and that is not a crime… and if anyone doesn’t like that, please unfriend me. That’s my right just as it is yours to choose your right. I respect your right but what I do not appreciate is being or seeing others manipulated.

The whole BLM thing has been subverted now, morphed into something else.

So many people of different races, colour or creed have been unlawfully killed, we’ve not heard the last of it either.

Several of my friends, who happen to be black, they themselves are saying “Enough is enough now, be united!” People’s choices should be respected regardless of who/what they may be, no oppressing, no forcibly suppressing, no manipulating, no engineering, no reverse psychology… Just, respect one another.

BLM movement? That’s fine, I agree with the whole movement but the wording? No. That is what the problem here is, that is what’s causing tit for tat, that is at the root of the whole division.

Racism on the whole needs attention, but from an united front’s perspective as that is the only way it will be eradicated.

If anyone doesn’t like fairness, cannot accept the idea of unity or does not want to respect people’s individual choices, please unfriend me. I have unfriended others for the one sided hatred they have shared, the dividing they are causing regardless of who they may be. That kind of negativity is toxic. God knows the world doesn’t need any more toxicity or anger.

Stick with the good vibes (my friend) for it makes your soul glow, even more so. ☺️

2020 Cancelled.

1394F5DB-2117-42B9-AC9D-87EEF19FFC2A

Things have gone way overboard, in many senses. It has all gone too far now.

All the rioting has become something of an excuse, for those who felt and feel a sense of injustice. Even though justice has since been served.
Why insist and persist that it goes on?
Unlawful killings happen in other countries too, regardless of race, colour or creed. Why can’t there more exposure about that? It’s just as unlawful, if not worse. Why do things have to happen this way or that way? Why can’t people just let it be?

One could say it is no longer about racism, but frustration due to being locked down for 3 months now and “protesting” has become the perfect way forwards, a release for all of that frustration and relatively, hatred.

There is a time and place, a way to behave, to achieve the best results desired and there is no need, or excuse, to be violent and / or destructive, in any sense yet it has happened and it is happening. Friendships have been lost, property destroyed, beings attacked, the list goes on. Where’s the positive in all that?

Some people have allowed themselves to be dictated by other people’s thoughts, feelings and politics when some people have stuck by their initial morals and values. Each to their own – why has that not been more widely accepted? Why has there been pressure and manipulation applied unto others to conform? When once again, it could be for the greater good on an UNITED front. Against ALL racism…

Hatred once again is the cause, which has turned into another virus.

I’ve had enough of this year already… I know some of you know how many weeks there is left until Christmas lol….

I’m tired.

The sooner 2020 is cancelled, the better.

Free Of Hatred.

54C70EA1-EED0-4118-9C5E-BCAF3DFBEB17

I am inclined to do a cull shortly, for I do not wish to see posts on any of my social media feeds which are extremely racially divisive and breeds further hatred, nor do I enjoy seeing and knowing that some of these people are blindly supporting and sharing posts of that nature, JUST because they are “friend(s)” with the original poster – without thinking or questioning first, themselves or the poster’s true intentions.

I enjoy respectful healthy debates but when you see a post that tries to suggest white people are uneducated, for whatever they may choose to think ie “All lives matter” etc or for choosing to be silent… To be against ALL racism… That’s each and every one’s right, to think for themselves but to see someone turn and abuse that right by trying to make us all out as “uneducated whites”. is RACIST in itself.

It is rather hypocritical for someone to expect those who are trying to be more conscious of other unlawful killings (regardless of race, colour or creed) since no or not enough noise is being made on their behalf, who’s trying to be more mindful, inclusive and fair, only to be faced with a condition, to conform under pressure to a particular stance, one that might feel and appear divisive… When that someone or group doing the pressuring, could introspect. reflect and compromise also?

“Together we stand, divided we fall”

Unity against ALL racism is the way forwards. Not one way, or the high way.

So to read “uneducated whites” (by Ashton Jean Pierre) was the last straw, especially by a member (same person!) of the deaf community and worse still, seeing other, potentially influential, members of the same community, supporting. accepting and even sharing that notion. Most people I know have chosen to let it go.

Seeing a degree of manipulation being applied to suit – in all senses, is saddening. Whether they realise it, or not. For potentially. not conforming to them or their way of thinking, behaving.

It’s totally fine for those who wish to remain silent, it’s totally fine for those who wish not to explain themselves… it’s totally fine whatever one chooses to do, or say, or not say. It’s totally fine, not to conform under pressure, it’s totally fine, to stand firm in what you believe in, regardless of the belief(s). It is totally fine, for you to stay true to yourself.

No one has the right to dictate, you, your way of thinking, beliefs, your conscience, your life.

Those who know me well, will know that I am not afraid to use my voice, or to use my right to keep my space neutral, peaceful and free of hatred. As one possibly can.

Politics vs Morals
Seconded.

Quality rather than quantity.

Against ALL Racism.

C6EC5FC3-5A9F-4D7D-8916-C2F255FBD139
So now it’s not ok for a white person or anyone different to say “All lives matter”?? It’s apparently selfish and an excuse? And if anyone says “All lives matter” or the like, they are apparently uneducated?

Black lives have never not mattered. I’m extremely conscious of the diversity within my own family and where I live, it’s all very cosmopolitan so naturally,, each and every one matters, it’s in no way selfish or an excuse at all. I should not have to explain any one of my family’s DNA make up or family history, to anyone either.

How about some more consideration for those who were unlawfully killed by other races instead of tarring one with the same brush and turning a blind eye as and when / where you please. Any unlawful killing is not the first time nor will it be the last.

It is not down to skin colour but love and hatred at the root of it all. Hatred is taught and to fight hatred with hatred isn’t going to get anyone, anywhere.

I see people lowering themselves to the bully’s level and encouraging others to support them / becoming bullies themselves…. is that not a mob culture?

To be more inclusive, the message, particularly the wording, by anyone protesting should say “Against all racism” be it black, Arab, Indian, Rohingya people. There should be no racism against any one race or colour they happen to be. We should ALL unite against racism.

After I posted the above onto my social media account, a “friend” commented and as a result of their approach, I have since lost a “friend” to hatred. No great loss to me since it is all about the survival of the fittest. First photo shows their comment and my response to them from my initial post and the second is from a post on their own profile after they commented on my initial post, to try and expose me to their own pack of wolves but of course, I wasn’t having any of that sort of control and manipulation.

Racism and hatred is once again, learnt and taught.

Malcom X realised the errors of his ways and became a much better person for it, please do watch his ’letter from Hajj.’

It is only recently the media has been applying the word terrorism to a white racist but for many years, the Muslims have been discriminated against.

The EDL was attacking Muslims and the government stood by and watched, the BNP had a seat in the parliament. it was never a black issue, no one demonstrated over it, people accepted these things to happen, this is one of the reasons behind all lives matter. if we speak as one against all injustices the more likely we will root out the disease .

Let’s not turn black against white and white against black, sadly we see the bigots and the criminal elements hijacking what genuine people are trying to achieve.

I admire the black woman who stopped some demonstrators attacking the Police.

An eye for an eye makes all blind.

Be kind, always?

Ten Reasons Why We Would Like Change.

We are all too aware that changes need to be made and asks ‘What would you like to see be changed?’

(SJ says, “I would like” because her grandmother always said, “I want – never gets”!)

Here is a list of some of the changes the Tree House dwellers long for;

I would like to see the deaf community put their differences aside and work together to improve access. I wish they would realise no one is superior or inferior to another.

I would like to see a bridge built between people of every walk of life (deaf and hearing for example) working together to establish common ground and to work out ways to bridge gaps that exist between the two camps.

I would like to see the deaf community unite regardless of different communication abilities to work towards the same aims because that would make inroads more.

I would like to see a day when being deaf does not feel like being punished for something you did not do!

I would like peace because I am a troubled person.

I would like people to stop having one rule for themselves and another for others because that is just selfish and unfair.

I would like change to happen from the top down so everyone is equal regardless of whether they are deaf, HoH, deafblind, blind, hearing or different in any other way.

I would like to see respect and tolerance between all human beings across the planet, and the gap between rich and poor hugely reduced.

I would like people to realise just how diverse the deaf community is and that not everyone is reliant on the same assumed method(s) of communication.

I would like to see the deaf community and the hearing world to look at the full picture instead of looking at one spot constantly and focus on the diversity cos we all are diverse and lastly unique…

The Truth Behind Why The Tree House Ceased The Merge With Deaf Unity

unity

The truth about Deaf Unity and the Tree House is…

I had taken on an admin who also worked for Deaf Unity. One day we, The Tree House, contemplated becoming a charity and Deaf Unity was interested in merging with us.

We subsequently had a meeting and the future looked bright, we were actually excited.

In time, I started to feel we had to work under them, which made me feel uneasy. One of their members of staff used the TH as a place for Deaf Unity’s ideas and proposals as we had more members. Except, we could not relax anymore what with the constant postings about Deaf Unity despite agreeing that we would retain our own identity and aims.

I had to ask Deaf Unity to make them stop posting so much as it was scaring away the members from speaking freely, without fear of being judged.

I decided to try to see if the TH could do monthly social meetings, a cafe if you like. Deaf Unity quickly resurrected theirs without respecting our own identity and ideas, taking an idea of mine, and made it their own for their own gains. It was the first time they did not respect my wishes and took credit for what seemed like a great idea – their cafe had long previously been made redundant due to a lack of interest. It was only because of the TH that their cafe was resurrected and grew in time.

However, because I felt we no longer had our own identity and having to answer to them, I decided it was best for the TH to become independent once more and ‘free’ of restrictions. Several people spat their dummies but I refused to let it deter us or manipulate us. The CEO was a friend of mine I knew years before and he was quite understandable about it, which increased my respect for him.

They had even sourced an employee for themselves from my admin team. One might say they enticed her over but who knows. I did not dare react and let her go to them. One day they dared to try and argue with me but I pointed out all they had done. Since Deaf Unity was no longer part of the TH, no more was said except for themselves in their own capacity as voluntary members of the admin team.

I loved the Ward sisters (Elizabeth / Lizzie & Sarah) and was extremely thankful for having them in my life as friends but they were soon misled and manipulated. They sadly let other people pull the wool over their eyes and reacted relatively accordingly by following the majority.

I was very sad, to lose them as friends but wiser for it and I asked one of their husbands to look after them since I knew the others were dangerous for them. This was after they had let my daughter and I down and for some stupid reason I still cared. Even though the knife was stuck in and slander was spread privately, bearer of grudges and henpecked me, accused me of hurting them when in fact they had hurt themselves. It was saddening to watch the influence by others take hold of them.

I only ever speak the truth and say things like it is, the evidence I have kept of the whole facade at this time speaks for itself. There are witnesses also.

I do not appreciate being degraded or undermined especially when I am the founder and legal owner of the TH. Someone did eventually try to apologise for their actions but I flat out refused  to accept or forgive them based on the extent of their actions and behaviour. Once someone has hurt me or my children, they are gone. As simple as that.

I wish Deaf Unity well otherwise.
