“The most beautiful curve in a woman’s body is her smile.”
~ Bob Marley.
What a sincerely beautiful quote to be given, after thanking someone, simply for making me smile.
That was enough, to make my day.

My 11 year old daughter stopped me early this afternoon whilst shopping and asked me if she could give HER change to this elderly homeless man who looked quite sad, I explained that it was hers to give – I even gave her a bit more loose change. She smiled and ran up to him, handing over her change. She ran back to me, glowing and looking satisfied. I then looked to him in the distance and put up my hand to acknowledge him, also with a smile.
Walking home, she spoke of how powerful a smile can be. How he tranformed, smiling back at her and gratefully thanked her about ten times! Bless her cottons… I explained to her that she most probably made his day. She understood then, just how much my favourite saying means to me…
“Keep on smiling, for it is free and does wonders.”
It suits too. π
A drop of kindness goes a very long way but best of all, it does not hurt.

Several relatives think jellies are just RUDE and find themselves giggling at the very sight of one. Imagine their tears of laughter if they saw this?!… Hence why I saved it for posterity, simply just to make our hearts smile.
Oh, how I love to rub it in π
Enjoy!

I was watching the new Yorkshire Vet programme with my daughter. When the Narrator goes, “…. has a farm…. And on that farm they have a donkey….”
Daughter and I both look at one another, we simultaneously said “A-ee-i-o!”
Cue our laughter. π π π
She has been taught well?!

Kids had a good laugh with this picture I found – they found it to be very true.
That I was ready, for when my sonΒ started to Skype his friend.
He said “Hello?”
And I said, “Can you hear me?”
He could not talk for laughing. π
It has also reminded me that whenever I switch my hearing aids on, I always say “Hello?”…
Someone out there, one day, is going to answer, “Is it me you’re looking for?!” π

My kids were bought a small pot each of “Whoopee Putty” by their Nana – a very simple thing which has given them the giggles. Thanks muchly Mother!
If only my children knew I once had a whoopee cushion… And that I played a trick on my father in law. Yes… You read that right, father in law.
Extremely brave, I know.
Their living room was full of siblings, aunts, cousins but not the father. So… We waited until the perfect moment, for his father to return and just before he sat down, the whoopee cushion was then discreetly positioned.
Phhhwwwwaaarrrrttttt!
He shot back up again in shock!
And oh my days…
The rest of us were howling with laughter and crying from the pains of laughing….
One of my favourite memories indeed. β€οΈ
Laughter, is the best medicine….
