Anti-Racism Demonstrations & COVID 19.

A good friend of mine has voiced his thoughts on the anti-racism protests happening at the moment , it was and is courageous of him to do so because of his own background. He and many others, is saddened to see the violence, the rioting at which was supposedly a protest about racial inequality.

Kudos to you my friend, who wishes to remain anonymous for personal reasons, for speaking out against his own community. For standing by your own morals and values. For being you.

This kind of behaviour will inevitably be the cause of the Coronavirus 19 second wave, except Dawn Butler, an MP, wishes for them to be exempt from any blame. No one is above the law or exempt from any social distancing rules. No one has the right to be violent and/or destructive either.

Violence and hatred gets no one anywhere. They are only rioting because there was a sense of injustice but they have gone too far now.

Other unlawful killings in the past were dealt with on the spot because justice was relatively served, they/we were satisfied. Regardless of what race or colour they/we happened to be.

For anyone to be selfish, manipulative and hypocritical about it all is very off putting. “White silence is violence” That’s just provoking. Then to say “uneducated whites” is also going too far. All because there are those who aren’t conforming under their pressure, to join them, their cause. It’s their choice and everyone has the right to choose. Just don’t manipulate everyone else and their choices to suit you / them.

I’m seeing a lot of my friends, some of whom also happen to be black, having their say now, like the post I have shared here with their permission.

It is not about racism anymore yet the race card has continued to be thrown around to try and justify their actions and the lockdown has naturally made people frustrated, the protests has given the “protesters” a way outside and they have taken that frustration outside, and unleashed it. It has turned into a mob culture and relatively, another virus. Hatred once again is at the root of it all.

Best to let these people do as they wish, let them hurt each other and blame everyone else but themselves. and the rest of us, to stay out of the way, to stay safe and well. There is a deadly virus about after all.

Stay peaceful, stay kind. Stay righteous, regardless of who you may be, where you may be.

Survival Of The Fittest

survivalofthefittest

Today I read something that resonated with me, so much so that I just had to create this post.

The blacksmith would heat the metal to a certain temperature to melt off specific impurities, and then he would raise the temperature higher to melt off other impurities. This process would continue until the original ore was purified.

This provided me with the perfect analogy for what trials and tribulations has been decreed for us all, by God’s will.

Any attributes that does not meet the standard would then be filtered out and those who did, would go on to be tested further within our capabilities, until there was some respite in the form of happiness. We are all subjected to alternative waves of different trials and tribulations to help define who we are.

Any undesirables would then, always have their true colours exposed, be found out and then removed. Filtered.

It is also quite the test of good manners, to be patient with the bad ones.

Hence why I see it as a case of, a survival of the fittest.

Always be the best that you can be and strive to be as righteous as you can be.

Que Sera, Sera

Time is precious yet it flies.

Soul surfing the past few days has been the desired effect upon reading a very thought-provoking book. As always, there is a balance – in everything around us. Except there is a balance amongst the people of today that has been giving me some cause for concern.

In trying to be kind always, ignoring certain traits as not to be critical, negative or be accused of anything false, doing right by all has made me vulnerable to certain characters of whom I am extremely grateful to. For showing me who not to be or who to become and especially, for helping me to appreciate the sincere and finer beings today.

Yet, why do I still feel such a noticeable degree of sadness when other people’s negativity and their undesirable characteristics is not my problem but solely theirs? Does this boil down to the fact that I cherish life so much more and know from experience just how relatively short it can be. Alternatively, because I can ascertain between what is trivial when to others such triviality is apparently their whole world? On the other hand, is it because I can sense the evilness influencing the people amongst us so relatively, feeling helpless in stopping it from taking hold of them thus the anticipated engineered situations? All of the above?

If they are so determined to be, who they are then just let them be. Their own shortcomings are ones they have to be responsible for and therefore, they cannot displace their blame unto others.

Que sera, sera.

The one vitally most important fact to remember is that I am no longer allowing these characters, these feelings of sadness and frustration to dictate the valuable time I have left, to appreciate my loved and cherished ones in the best and righteous manner possible. For time is precious.

Positivity rules!
